Perth Ball Summer Dance

The Perth Ball Summer Dance is an all-ages reels party, primarily aimed at children aged 7-13 years. It’s a great way to round off the summer holidays and to introduce your children to the fun of reeling in a relaxed informal setting.

Live music is provided by the brilliant James Coutts Scottish Reeling Band. The evening starts off with a Dashing White Sergeant and Strip the Willow, followed by a first go at The Reel of the 51st Highland Division. After supper there are four more reels including some repeats, and the evening winds up at 10 pm.

Notes for Hosts:

- If you have lots of young children or beginners in your party make sure you have some experienced adults as well who are prepared to dance and help out.
- As the main aim of the dance is to teach the young, parties without children or teenagers are not encouraged due to limited space.

Venue: Summer Dance is being held at Madderty Village Hall, St David's, Madderty, Crieff, PH7 3PJ

Tickets: £15 per head

Time: 6.30 to 10pm

Band: The James Coutts Reeling Band

Dress: Informal Kilts (open neck shirt with kilt or tartan trews for the men/ boys and a party dress for the ladies/ girls)

Food & Drink: Ticket price includes a finger buffet and soft drinks (adults may BYO).

Tables: If you would like to bring a party the host name should be entered on the booking form of the ticket page. Alternatively, if you are not in a party just use the name of a committee member and we will seat you at a table with lots of friendly people.
