Perth Ball Christmas Dance
The Christmas Dance is a fun filled family reels party held just prior to Christmas at Fingask Castle.
Live music is provided by the fabulous James Coutts Scottish Reeling Band and the emphasis is very much on a relaxed atmosphere to dance the night away celebrating being with family and friends in the run up to Christmas. It is an ideal environment to brush up and practise reeling and suitable for experienced and learners alike.
A Few Details
Date: 23rd December 2024
Venue: The Pavilion at Fingask Castle, Rait, PH2 7SA
Time: 6:30pm for 7:00pm start, to 11:00pm
Tickets and Food/Drink: £35/head to include a two course supper. All drinks must be bought from the bar. There is a maximum of 20 tickets bought from any one person.
Seating: If you would like to bring a party to be seated together, the host name should be entered on the booking form on the ticket page. If you would like to be added to a mixed group, we are trialling a new system. Please enter “Mixed” in the host name and you will be contacted after your ticket purchase and asked how many prep age (roughly 8-13/14 years), how many teens (roughly 13/14-18 years) and how many adults you would like placed on age appropriate tables. The committee will do their best to accommodate requests but please note these cannot be guaranteed.
Dress: Informal Kilts / Party Dress
Dancing: The James Coutts Scottish Reeling Band
Programme: The Dashing White Sergeant, Strip the Willow, The Reel of the 51st Division, The Eightsome Reel, Gay Gordons and some repeats.
Guidelines: All children must be accompanied by a suitable number of adults who are responsible for them throughout the evening.
Refunds: Should you find you are no longer able to come, the committee will try and resell your tickets if there is a waiting list. However, no automatic refunds are offered.
